About Our Centre
Wise Owl Early Childhood Centre is in the heart of Raumati South, has been a standing Child Care service for over 30 years, with the Williams family running this for 20 of those years. There is a big focus in incorporating the local community into their curriculum, having local excursions and welcoming whanau and other guests to come share with tamariki. We have a wonderful spacious outside environment for tamariki to physically challenge themselves and a lovely homely feel inside that truly makes this a home away from home.
Our Programme
Our environment is rich in literacy and numeracy enabling tamariki natural pathways into these areas to be supported. We are a centre that is focused on supporting tamariki develop as learners and have a deep appreciation of the learning that take place during the first five years of tamaiti life. We believe whanau are the first teachers and incorporate whanau values, culture and beliefs throughout the curriculum.
